I’ve been looking more to my surrounding physical environment of previous and present (with the help of my camera roll archive) as I develop an aesthetic context around the items I’m presenting. Finding similarities in mundane form, colour and texture across the various visual stimuli I’ve thought intriguing enough to document. And in turn identifying a stream of feeling as it unravels.
Much of it consists of observing the back and forth between nature and man-made elements - available just about everywhere for one’s viewing pleasure. Borrowing a bit from both parties.

It goes as deep as you want it to. I like colours and textures consistent to the areas one inhabits. And the process of gathering and squeezing those feelings and visual elements into wearable form, to be worn and reflected back at to the world.

Likewise, I’ve been exploring a theme of restrained vibrancy. As a personal lover of the complete multi-colour spectrum, it’s tempting to let rip full saturation. But alas like all good stories, you're apparently not supposed to start with the finale - so teasing it out with subtly and the occasional pop of unrestrained chroma is where we’re at right now.

Will keep you updated.
